Water year 2018 (covering October 2017 through September 2018) was drier than normal almost all the California and Nevada region (Figure 1).
CNAP researchers recently released reports on the integration of climate science into planning. The first major effort was the California Fourth Climate Change Assessment and the second was the AB2800 Climate Safe Infrastructure Report.
CNAP and NIDIS co-hosted a Southern California Winter Status Update. The meeting included an update on current conditions, and climate outlook as well as a presentation on the Thomas Fire and the Montecito post-fire debris flow.
